Some lucky ones already have the opportunity to participate in the World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic beta
Announced at BlizzConline last month, this version will follow in the same footsteps as World of Warcraft Classic and will allow us to relive the events of the first MMORPG expansion in the same way as 14 years ago. The Dark Portal of Azeroth has reopened, as it did in 2007 when the Burning Crusade expansion was originally released, because as of today some lucky ones already have the opportunity to participate in the World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic beta.
The Burning Crusade Classic is an extension of World of Warcraft Classic, which was initially launched again in 2019. Blizzard has acknowledged that it’ll permit gamers to both transfer their characters to The Burning Crusade Classic, or hold them in World of Warcraft Classic on separate servers.
The game features customizable character classes with thousands of weapons, spells and abilities. With an innovative, easy-to-use interface, an action-packed combat system, and thousands of quests that build an immersive storyline, "World of Warcraft" offers a MMORPG experience that will appeal to both veteran and casual players alike.
The Burning Crusade Classic expansion was announced during this year's BlizzCon. The expansion doesn't have a release date set as of yet, but we do know that it will be made available to everyone as a free update (a paid subscription to the regular version of World of Warcraft will suffice to play).
“As always, please be aware of phishing attempts,” warned Blizzard. “If you’re unsure whether your invitation is legitimate, please log in to your Battle.net account to verify that there is a Burning Crusade Classic beta license attached (under Your Game Accounts).”
At the time of playing it will be possible to transfer the characters from World of Warcraft Classic and continue the adventure with them or create a totally new one that has level 58. In addition, it will also be possible to opt for a Draenei or a Blood Elf of level 1 , the two races that were introduced at the time in this expansion.
WoW Classic is Blizzard Entertainment’s authentic recreation of the original Azeroth before its seven game-changing expansions.
