The four NFL stars who competes were Odell Beckham Jr., Rob Gronskowski, Patrick Peterson and Antonio Brown. Odell Beckham Jr came away victorious in the finals to feature on this year Madden NFL 16 cover. Over the past two weeks, fans have voted via Madden Ultimate Team, Madden NFL Mobile and ESPN.com culminating with Beckham being revealed as the victor during a special segment on SportsCenter.

 

In the final round Odell Beckham Jr. (53%) beat Rob Gronkowski (47%) to become the cover athlete in Madden NFL 16. He's going to face stiff competition from Gronkowski, though. Gronk is one of the most popular players in the NFL thanks to his fun-loving, off-field attitude. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Beckham Jr., 22, is the youngest Madden cover star ever. "Odell Beckham Jr. is a true playmaker and a perfect fit for this year's game," EA Sports senior director of marketing Randy Chase said. "He's an unstoppable force out on the field, and the Madden NFL 16 cover is further vindication that the fans believe he's a player to watch in the coming years."
